Web Site Analysis (continued from home page)Where did the year go? We had such a great year for getting outside and riding the Harley. It'd be tough to ask for a better summer and fall than the one we just had. Lots and lots of weekends with no rain. Fantastic camping weather. I hope you got a chance to get out there and enjoy as much of it as possible. The organized rides are all behind us now. But the fun is far from over. We have a Christmas party coming up in December. And we have a lot of planning to do for next year's events and activities. Keep the suggestions coming for any and all improvements you'd like to see to the Website. The Website - just like the member-run organization that TRAIN MRO is - is all of yours and we are looking to do what is needed to make it better for everyone. See you all very soon! Mike Last UpdateIt's that time of year where there is something going on every weekend. A ride, a campout, a get-together with friends, etc. It seems the only real problem is squeezing everything you want to do in amongst all the other obligations on the calendar. Of course with our busy schedules it's easy to lose sight of the real priorities. Ride and ride safe. Get that bike out there and have fun. The riding season is short, so don't let it sit in the garage. Otherwise you may be regretting it later in the year, especially once the cold weather starts rolling in. Be sure to check the Website often for the latest event news on rides and other activities. Just to name a few events coming up in July, there is the Honor Flight Ride, the TRAIN MRO Covered Bridge Run, and Ride for Smiles. Last weekend we were riding in the Hocking Hills area in eastern Ohio. On Saturday the weather forecast called for scattered thunderstorms starting around noon and lasting all day. We got the bikes on the road by 10 am to get in some good riding before the rain hit. Somehow, someway, we were blessed because we road all day and only once had to seek shelter; and even then only for 10 or 20 minutes. That gave us just enough time to check the map and pick out the next leg of our route. There was a lot of rain in the area, but it was either ahead of us or behind us most the day as we made a big loop from Logan to Athens and back around through McArthur and on back to Top of the Cave campground. Keep the suggestions coming for any improvements you'd like to see to the Website. The Website is all of ours at TRAIN MRO and we are looking to do what is needed to make it better for everyone. See you at the next event! Mike Graphs of latest Web Stats as of 13/Oct/08![]() ![]() |
